Will perform engineering related tasks in the die cast area and assist in more advanced functions tied to training and development. Will evaluate current technologies for improvement and cost reduction. This is a lean environment and assembly and machining are also processes occurring at the plant.
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree
At least 1 year of successful manufacturing engineering in a high volume setting
Knowledge and experience of designed experiments, analysis of variance and new systems design
Experience with the die cast process
Good interpersonal skills as well as good written communication skills
Knowledge of computer systems related to engineering
Knowledge of to include construction of internal combustion engines
