Master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).COPY OF TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED Licensure:
Individual must be licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level. (Provide copy of independent social worker license.) English Language Proficiency. Must be proficient in spoken and written English. Exception. VHA may waive the licensure or certification requirement for persons who are otherwise qualified, pending completion of state prerequisites for licensure/certification examinations. This exception only applies up to the full performance level. For grade levels above the full performance level, the candidate must be licensed or certified. May qualify based on being covered by the Grandfathering Provision as described in the VA Qualification Standard for this occupation (only applicable to current VHA employees who are in this occupation and meet the criteria). Grade Determinations:
GS-13 :
At least one year of specialized experience professional social work equivalent to the GS-12 level, under qualified social work supervision. At this grade, Social Worker Program Coordinators manage the administrative and clinical aspects of a major specialty treatment program, such as PTSD, Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SAW), Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC), etc., or a combination of programs located at one facility or multiple divisions of a facility. They have responsibility for coordinating interdisciplinary staffing, work assignments, budget, treatment services provided, and admission criteria for the program. They may also supervise employees assigned to the program.Individuals assigned as social worker program coordinator or manager must be licensed or certified atthe advanced practice level. Their experience must demonstrate possession of advanced practice skills and judgment, demonstrating progressively more professional competency. They may have certification or other post-master's degree training from a nationally recognized professional organization or university that includes a defined curriculum/course of study and internship, or equivalent supervised professional experience. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED). In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the professional KSAs:
1. In-depth knowledge of the program coordinated, and demonstrated knowledge and ability to write policies, procedures, and/or practice guidelines for the program. 2. Knowledge and skill in management/administration, which includes supervision, consultation, negotiation, and monitoring. 3. Ability tosupervise multidisciplinary staff assigned tothe program. 4. Ability to organize work, set priorities, meet multiple deadlines, and evaluate assigned program area(s). 5. Ability to provide training, orientation, consultation and guidance within clinical specialization of practice. References:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
